Celebrate Israel through something your community creates together. A meaningful Israeli song becomes a shared expression of love for Israel, connection and belonging—with the voices and faces of your own people at the heart of it.
Whether you’re bringing together a school, a congregation, an organization or an entire community, singing in harmony can turn a celebration into a moving shared experience. Each person contributes their own voice, and together the group creates something no one could create alone.
And the experience lives on in a professionally produced music video: a keepsake of the day, the people and what you created together. Share it with families and friends, send it to members of your community around the world, and return to that shared moment long after the celebration.
With VezeHakol, no previous singing experience is needed. We guide your participants from their first rehearsal to the final performance, helping everyone find their place in the music.
Three Ways to Make It Part of Your Celebration
A Family & Community Singing Event
Bring school-aged children, parents, grandparents and other community members into one musical project. Rather than preparing a performance for families to watch, invite them to be part of it. We’ll plan the arrangement and rehearsal format around the ages, experience and makeup of your group.
A School-Wide Israel Celebration
Give students from different grades a role in the same performance. The singing project can be the main activity in your Yom HaAtzmaut program or a dedicated part of a larger celebration. Choose a song that connects with what your students have been learning and the message your school wants to share.
A Joint Project for Several Schools
Turn Yom HaAtzmaut into an opportunity for schools to meet through music. Students from different institutions can work toward one shared performance, with the venue, rehearsal spaces and schedule coordinated across the participating schools.
Choosing Music for Your Celebration
The right song depends on your audience and the atmosphere you want to create. Existing arrangements in our repertoire include “Chai,” “Yachad Kol HaDerech” and “Al Kol Eleh.” These are starting points for a conversation, not a fixed Yom HaAtzmaut set list. Together, we’ll choose music that suits your participants and the occasion.
The event can be led in English or Hebrew, and songs can be in either language. For Hebrew songs, we can provide transliterated lyric sheets so participants who don’t read Hebrew can follow along.
What Happens at the Event?
Participants learn the arrangement in groups, guided by our facilitators. Depending on the group size and event format, we use two- or three-part harmony. The groups then reunite, hear how their parts fit together and perform as one choir.
We record and film the performance, then mix the audio and edit the finished video. It becomes a way to share the project with families and community members who couldn’t attend, and to revisit what your group created together.
What Should You Plan in Advance?
- Time
- A full event typically takes 90 minutes to two hours. If it is part of a larger celebration, we’ll coordinate its place in the schedule before you finalize the program.
- Spaces
- Separate rehearsals need suitable spaces where each group can learn without hearing the others. You’ll also need an area where everyone can come together for the performance, along with seating and access to power.
- Sound
- The host arranges the PA system. We provide the technical requirements for the agreed format and coordinate with your sound provider in advance.View sound requirements
- Participants
- Let us know the ages, approximate group size, Hebrew familiarity and whether families or several institutions will be participating. These details help us recommend the musical arrangement and rehearsal setup.
- Travel & Production
- See our main event page for the production fee, what’s included and travel arrangements. We’ll discuss the details for your location before booking.View event pricing and travel details
